ICFP 2017
ICFP 2017 is the 22nd ACM SIGPLAN International Conference on Functional Programming.
ICFP provides a forum for researchers and developers to hear about the latest work on the design, implementations, principles, and uses of functional programming. The conference covers the entire spectrum of work, from practice to theory, including its peripheries. This year, there are keynotes from Chris Martens and John Launchbury; unfortunately, Rich Hickey is unable to attend as originally planned.
Most of the talks in the main conference will be live-streamed; questions from remote observers will be taken via Slack, for which you will need to sign up. (Registered participants should now have received a separate personal invitation to Slack.) If you want to tweet about the conference, we suggest the hashtag #icfp2017.
ICFP will run in parallel to FSCD 2017, held at the Maths Institute in Oxford. Registrants of either conference can attend talks at both conferences, and the lunch/coffee breaks will be joint. (FSCD workshops take place elsewhere, and must be registered for separately.)
Additional local information is provided in the Information Blog.
